Our Post will take part in Wreaths Across America on
December 13, 2025 at Andersonville National Cemetery, placing wreaths on
veterans' graves. The attached spreadsheet lists over 104 of our members buried
there. If you know of a VFW Post 2785 member not included, please inform us.
We will lay wreaths at the graves of our Post's namesakes,
"Barr-Allen-Kennedy": These members are not buried at Andersonville.
· Joe Barr (US Navy) remains missing in action from WWII.
· Neal Allen (US Army-Air Force) is buried at Oakview Cemetery, Albany.
· Ernest Kennedy (US Air Force) rests in the family plot in Dawson, GA.
